From leaf to lot
Our extraction process
Four deliberate steps, start to finish. Here is how our extract is made, and what we never do along the way.
From leaf to lot
Every lot moves through the same four steps, in the same order, with nothing skipped.
- 01
Leaf sourcing & intake
Sourced from established suppliers and lot-numbered at intake.

- 02
Domestic, DCM-free extraction
Produced in our US facility without DCM or harsh solvents.

- 03
Independent lab testing
Every lot independently lab tested, published as COAs.

- 04
Sealed, lot-coded packaging
Sealed and lot-coded so every package traces to its COA.

No shortcuts
How our process compares with shortcuts that exist in the market.
| Aspect | The MitraGen process | Common shortcuts |
|---|---|---|
| Extraction solvents | DCM-free process; residual solvents tested on every lot | Harsh solvents like dichloromethane (DCM) with no published residual testing |
| Alkaloid source | 100% naturally occurring alkaloids from the leaf | Synthetic or chemically converted alkaloids (e.g. lab-converted 7-OH) added to boost numbers |
| Where extraction happens | Extracted, formulated, and packaged in the USA | Imported finished extract of unknown provenance |
| Lab testing | Independent lab, every lot, published COAs | Occasional or in-house-only testing; COAs not published |
| Traceability | Lot-coded packaging that maps to a public COA | No lot code, or lot codes with no public record |
Proof, not promises
Every lot's certificate of analysis is published on our lab results page. Look yours up by lot number.
